We're changing things up
Mini-Announcement
Heyo guys!
To challenge myself, I decided to make these newsletters much shorter (and, in turn, easier to read)
And to send 3 of them per week.
Sounds crazy hard, but let’s see how it goes. Enjoy! <3
Slow down
If you’re like me (or literally 99% of people on Earth),
Then you know what it’s like to be caught into ???the future trap???.
You’re constantly looking into the future,
•Worrying about
•Predicting
•Planning future events
Turning your back away from the present as a consequence.
I’ve been told by one of my X friends to make a detailed plan of what I want to have in the future, to construct the exact plan that will take me there.
Personally, I think that’s the worst thing I could do.
Life doesn’t need a carefully thought-out plan to be great, it needs a direction.
I know what path I’m on, which road I’m taking
So I don’t need a 2046-step plan to get to my destination.
I don’t even know my destination,
I just know that I want to dedicate my life to helping others.
And so I’m letting myself explore all the possibilities of doing that.
I’m not thinking about exactly what I’ll do in 10 years.
I just know the kind of life I want to have.
And, until then, I’m taking it slowly.
I’m looking at the next step I have to take, the next hurdle I have to pass.
Why should I create a destiny for my future self,
When I don’t even know that’s exactly what he wants?
Why constrict yourself to a perfectly detailed plan,
Only to feel disappointed and empty when something’s not according to it?
That’s not the life I want to live.
And if that doesn’t sound right for you either, then sit down, take a deep breath and ask yourself:
“What’s the direction I want my life to go in?’
Once you know that, take the first step on your path.
Let life be the ocean that sways back and forth, while you be the ship sailing on it.
